Turbine is published annually by the International Institute of Modern Letters at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, and hosted by the NZ Electronic Text Centre.

The 2009 issue has been edited and produced by Claire Brunette and Bill Nelson — each of whom completed an MA in Creative Writing at the IIML this year — with technical support from the staff of the Electronic Text Centre.

Audio files in this issue were recorded by Chris Price at the IIML with the exception of Emma Martin's story, which is sourced from a live recording of 'The Next Page (2)' an event in the Institute's annual reading series, Writers on Mondays, and Christopher Reid's poem 'You', which he read during his Masterclass at the Institute in July 2009.
