11 November 1965 with letterhead regarding egress.

By the mid 1960s, CPL was ready to move to a new purpose-built premises in Miramar. However, the company's cash-flow to see this project through was severely impacted when they purchased additional land in Miramar to fulfil their dream of a site which could accommodate their twenty-year expansion programme. As a result, they were forced to remain in Boulcott Street and continued to receive negative reports from the Department of Labour's Inspector of Factories. This one from 1965 points out that the sole emergency egress leads to a narrow alleyway between the CPL building and its immediate neighbour, Vickery & Inkersell and unsafe drainage sump. CPL's reply features the company logo and notes their speciality is colour and display.
