Letter dated July 22, 1930 re: bitumen floor.

Commercial Print Ltd. ran its successful business out of a three-story building dating from 1932 on Boulcott Street behind St. Mary of the Angels and adjacent to the engraving and block-making firm of Vickery & Inkersell. In 1930, John Woodward, Managing Director, asked the City Engineer to quote for laying a bitumen floor over the extant wooden construction. The City Engineer replied noting that the City Works Department did not undertake private work. The letterhead used for this correspondence includes an image of the building at the time. It is no longer standing.
