MAORI RHYTHM.

The sheet music items held in the Sheet Music Archive of NZ and any scanned or photocopied images of these items remain the property of the Archive and David Dell. Please see Conditions of Use.

This cover is printed offset litho, using a photo of an unidentified woman in traditional Maori dress with a background evocative of Maori weaving and tiki. This layout with portrait, often on a diagonal, is idiomatic to popular music of the 1960s and 70s. Allan Shand was a long-lived Wellington-based teacher, pianist, music arranger, and dance band leader remembered fondly for his eponymous Orchestra in concert or on recording.
