<lb TEIform="lb"/>A great question. — Thank-you very much for your

<lb TEIform="lb"/>sending it I shall endeavour to put it to a worthy

<lb TEIform="lb"/>the Auntie splurge. I have been thinking of some

<lb TEIform="lb"/>Daddy merely omitted to enclose the postal orders or

<lb TEIform="lb"/>yet so perhaps we might all club together & do something
<lb TEIform="lb"/>splendiferous. At the same times there's a very nice thin
<lb TEIform="lb"/>paper 3 vol <unclear TEIform="unclear">Pepys</unclear> complete which is very attractive. Let
<lb TEIform="lb"/>alone that beautiful Celanese underwear. — I duly
<lb TEIform="lb"/>note the Songs of Childhood <unclear TEIform="unclear">t64</unclear>. Immoral I call it.
<lb TEIform="lb"/>The bloke had no right to take the money. It must

<lb TEIform="lb"/>the <unclear TEIform="unclear">loom</unclear> is still on the upgrade. It looks to me as if
<lb TEIform="lb"/>there is going to be a nasty crash sometime not too far

<lb TEIform="lb"/>be worrying you both: I believe I may now be addressed
<lb TEIform="lb"/>as Dr by anyone who wants so do to, & perhaps if it would

<lb TEIform="lb"/>Otherwise I don't care much. I'll never be insulted

<lb TEIform="lb"/>at the phone at College shortly after he had got his

<lb TEIform="lb"/>Thank God for Woolworths! Then I suppose I shall have

of the flicks. Anyhow I can see a job will be
<lb TEIform="lb"/>urgently necessary if I am to do the right things as an
<lb TEIform="lb"/>uncle. Keith's remarks on Mary's looks I can only
<lb TEIform="lb"/>regard as highly invidious & uncalled for: still no
<lb TEIform="lb"/>doubt Mary has her private sentiments as to his looks,
<lb TEIform="lb"/>so I dare say they are about even. I am glad to
<lb TEIform="lb"/>hear that your visitors didn't stir you up too much. I am
<lb TEIform="lb"/>also glad to hear that Keith and Frannie are so well-
<lb TEIform="lb"/>satisfied with their house — of course if I came back I
<lb TEIform="lb"/>shall need to put in a good deal of time while waiting
<lb TEIform="lb"/>for a job to turn up, & as I shall have no money I
<lb TEIform="lb"/>shall certainly have to sponge alternatively on all
<lb TEIform="lb"/>married brothers etc. In this way I shall no doubt see
