Biographical material

For settlers prominent in our story, brief biographical summaries are provided in Appendix 1, pp. 347–52. They mainly cover significant aspects that do not relate to Kaponga and other important details that will not appear in the main text. An asterisk following a name in the text informs the reader of these notes.

Referencing. Biographical material has been collected by the usual methods of genealogical research, but is not referenced. The references may be found in:
