Robin Fry — So Did I
Robin Fry
So Did I
She threw a hook
into the heavenly rafters.
It held fast.
He turned on the shower.
It blasted him across the room
as full of arrows as Sebastian.
She took a siesta
and woke to the taste of raspberries
—a bee caught in the curtain.
He opened a window
and heard his name
echoing across a valley.
She took down a book
and two pages fell out
along with the shape of her heart.
He rang a bell
and a thousand birds flew out
turned in formation
and wrote his name on the sky.
