Mr. Francis Jollie became a member of the Stafford Ministry in 1866. He was first appointed to the Executive Council without portfolio in the middle of May. A month later he accepted the position of Colonial Treasurer, and continued in office till the 24th of August of the same year. Mr. Jollie was one of the early settlers of Nelson Province, and died several years ago.
