Dalefield
Dalefield is a village situated about two miles from the Carterton Telegraph Office, on the railway line towards Masterton. It is the centre of a dairying district, and contains a dairy factory, from which large quantities of butter and cheese are turned out. There is a public school with an average attendance of about seventy.
