The directors are also prominent business men. The assets of the company as shown in its last balance sheet were £540,521. A large marine business is underwritten in Australia and New Zealand. The New Zealand directors are Hon. J. T. Peacock (chairman), Mr. G. G. Stead (deputy chairman), and Mr. Joseph Palmer; the general manager is Mr. W. Devenish Meares.
