Mr. W. E. Reid, the Manager of Messrs. W. and G. Turnbull's Canterbury Branch, was born in Wellington in 1870, educated at the Wellington College, and brought; up to business in his father's firm. Mr. Reid took charge of the Canterbury branch in 1895.
