St. Andrew's Church , Walker Street Dunedin, is a brick building with seating accommodation for about six hundred worshippers. The organ, which is a fine instrument, cost £800. The Sunday school hall, with accommodation for about 500 scholars in the central hall and class rooms, is underneath the church. There is also a fine Mission Hall, where athletic and calisthenic classes for boys and girls are held, and a sewing and cookery class, a Bible class, Christian Endeavour, and Young Men's Club. This hall has a lending library attached to it, and also a free reading room.
