Song
My soul it is but gossamer
hung on an apple-tree,
and never a wind of heaven doth stir
but it shakes the heart of me.
And oh, my life is a gossamer
hung on the tree of her heart,
and never a sigh in her breast doth stir
but my soul is rent apart.
