Description of the CDs
Each of the Official History books has been scanned and converted into an electronic format and is available on CD-ROM. Each CD contains a complete reproduction of the book, including covers, endpapers, full text, illustrations and maps. This is not simply a page-by-page image of the book (facsimile). Each book has been completely retyped and is fully indexed by person, place and event. The books are in HTML format, meaning they can be read using any type of web browser on any computer operating system. You do NOT need an internet connection to use these CDs.

Volumes Available
All 50 volumes are available, and we are grateful to the New Zealand Government, the copyright holder, for allowing us to digitise the books and make them available to you, as the printed versions are long out of print. Some titles in the series ran to 3 volumes so we have combined these onto a single CD.
Pricing, Pack & Post
The prices listed below are for the CD and include packaging and post. GST is included for New Zealand addresses. Please choose the correct pricing column when you select the CDs you which to purchase. We will not be able to process your order if you select the New Zealand resident price but provide an overseas shipping address. This is a requirement of our copyright licence from the New Zealand Government.
Note that some of the Titles incorporate more than one printed volume. We have merged all of the text from the 2 or 3 volume set into one CD. Consequently the price is slightly higher for these 2 or 3 volume sets.
Bulk Orders and Special Sets
