No. 478.—Petition of H. T. W. Tapiha and 2 Others.

Petitioners pray that some land may be set aside for their use, as they allege they are "landless Natives."

I am directed to report that the Committee is of opinion this petition should be referred to the Government for inquiry.

No. 478.—Pitihana a H. T. W. Tapiha me etahi atu 2.

E inoi ana nga kai-pitihana kia wehea atu tetahi whenua mo rotou notemea ki ta ratou ki he "Maori kore whenua" ratou.

Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei: Kei te whakaaro te Komiti me tuku tenei pitihana ki te Kawanatanga kia uiuia tona tikanga.
