WILSON, (Mrs) L. W.

Wife of artist L. W. Wilson, the marriage having taken place in New Zealand. A story is that after her husband taught her to paint she used to sign some of her own work with his initials. In 1904 she joined her husband in Melbourne, was sent back to Dunedin, but presumably, as she stopped exhibiting after 1904, she joined him on his return to England. Exhibited: OAS 1902–04.
