ALLAN, A. S.
An early settler in Wellington, he was Registrar of the Supreme Court, Wellington, in the 1870s. One of his paintings was dated 1843. An ‘R.S.’, probably a misprint for ‘A.S.’ exhibited in New Zealand Exhibition, Dunedin 1865. Exhibited: Fine Arts Association, Wtn 1883. Represented: Turnbull.
