ANNABELL, Joseph 1815–1893

Born in Derby, England; had some training in art. He went out to Australia; exhibited in Melbourne. He came to New Zealand arriving in Napier in 1855. Was probably the father of John Annabell above. J. Annabell was listed as a Hastings artist 1880–84.
