BAGNALL, Percy b.1884

Born Turua, Thames, educated at Auckland Grammar School. Studied art in Auckland and Melbourne. Worked as lithographic artist in Auckland where he was with New Zealand Herald for

some time, in Melbourne, in New York, and in Sydney where he was in 1940. As an artist specialised in lithographic work and in etching. Exhibited ASA 1905–07 and had one man shows in Auckland and in Australia. Work included in Centennial Ex Wtn. Represented in ACAG and Hocken.
