ana. if (past). ana le se anoa, except.
e ui lava ina, although. aua, because.
peita‘i and peisa‘i, but. ‘atoa ma, together with, and also.
‘a, but. ne‘i, lest.
faita‘i, but. e ui ina mea, notwithstanding.
peiseai, like as, as though. amaise, together with.
