Human Immortality, and Kindred Topics, in connection with Modern Spiritualism and its Philosophy. By William Smitton.—This Essay is an investigation into the reality of a future state: it aims at a settlement of that much vexed and all important problem. The author thinks the question is simply one of evidence, and in the revelations of Modern Spiritualism he claims to have found that evidence. The inquiry is conducted in a broad and liberal spirit, and the essayist has sought to view all the great subjects connected with human immortality from an advanced and philosophic standpoint.

The Phenomena of the Unseen; or, How I became a Believer in the Reality of Modern Spirit Manifestations. By Mirza. Price 3d. It contains many extraordinary facts bearing on the subject of intercourse with the world of spirits, such as prophetic dreams, wraiths, hauntings, etc.; also, curious psychological facts from the author's experience in clairvoyance; with striking manifestations witnessed by him at spirit circles held in Glasgow. The author has also appended instructions how to form and conduct spirit circles.
