Collection of Casts.

Through the liberality of a few of our prominent citizens, a fine collection of Casts of Celebrated Fossils has been purchased of Prof. Ward at a cost of 82,800, and presented to the University. This collection is well known throughout the country as the most valuable of its kind, and forms one of the page 49 most attractive features of any museum. The zoological and palæontological collections are arranged in Room No. 4, on the first floor, and the mineralogical and geological collections in Room No. 8, second floor. These rooms are open to the public at all hours during the day.
