does sell and give up to

England her Heirs and Successors for ever all his part and that of his tribe in
the Land which is
Chief Pororua's Interests. mentioned and lies written in the book which sells the land of Nopera
Panekareao to
In Block sold by Nopera in 1840.
George Clarke which was written in
the month of August in the year of Our Lord One thousand eighth hundred and
forty. I have received the under mentioned articles as consideration and payment
for the said Land—Witness my name and signature on this twenty-eighth day of May
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-one £—(£100) One
hundred Pounds in specie—one Horse, one cloak and one
Receipt for £100, &c. saddle and Bridle,—
