1871. 23 November.Kaipara District.Victoria by the grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland Queen, To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting, Know ye that for good considerations Owhetu (No. 2,248). us thereunto moving, We for Us, our Heirs and Successors, do hereby Grant unto Paora Tuhaere and Kiwara Te Ro of the District of Kaipara in the Province of Crown Grant to Paora Tuhaere and Kiwara Te Ro. Auckland aboriginal Natives of New Zealand, their heirs and assigns all that parcel of land in our Province of Auckland in our Colony of New Zealand containing by admeasurement Five hundred and twenty-three (523) acres and three (3) roods Boundaries. In testimony whereof we have caused this our Grant to be sealed with the seal of our Colony of New Zealand.

Witness our trusty and well beloved Sir George Ferguson Bowen Knight Grand Cross of our most distinguished order of Saint Michael and Saint George Governor and Commander in Chief in and over the Colony of New Zealand at Wellington this twenty third day of November in the thirty fifth year of our reign and in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and severity one.

1874. 20 November.Transfer to the Crown. Transfer No. 416 from the within named Kiwara Te Ro and Paora Tuhaere to Her Majesty Queen Victoria produced and entered the 20th day of November 1874 at 3 p.m.
