Mr. FitzGerald,—
Governor's minute. I approve of your reasons for recommending a large extension of the award
in this case, but cannot consent to sign a deed of grant for more than eight
thousand five hundred and sixty acres in respect of this claim.
The above extent may comprise all the most valuable land, and very good it is. Prepare a deed for 8,560 acres.
