Report of Land Claims Commissioners.
Claimant's Name and Address.—William Stirling.
The payment made to the Natives for this land in November, 1839, appears to have been—£40 cash. At 7s. 8d. per acre = 104 acres.
The Commissioners therefore respectfully recommend that a grant for 104 acres of the above-described land should be issued to William Stirling, his heirs and assigns for ever. Excepting 100 feet from high-water mark, and any portion of the harbour required to be reserved.
