Transfers.The execution of the deed and payment have been proved by Fredk E. Manning.
Arthur Devlin.Matthew Mariner deposes to having sold the land described in this case to Arthur Devlin. Deed of transfer dated 13 December, 1839.
Cooper and Hughes.Charles B. Brewer has proved the subsequent sale and transfer of this property from Arthur Devlin to George Cooper and John Terry Hughes. Deed dated 11th April, 1840.

The Commissioner therefore respectfully recommends that a grant for revised award 603 acres of the above-described land should be issued to George Cooper and John Terry Hughes, his heirs and assigns for ever. Excepting 100 feet from high-water mark.

Dated at Auckland, this 23rd day of March, 1843.

Endorsement.Claimant allowed credit to the amount of £301 10s., as per Colonial Secretary's letter, 3rd May, 1814. Grant in favour of John Terry Hughes for 301½ acres.
