The Prime Minister of New Zealand to the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs1

Your most secret telegrams of 7 December [Nos. 9194]. On the assumption that the Government of the USA take prior and similar action, His Majesty's Government in New Zealand agree with the course proposed, and fully associate themselves with the text of the contemplated communications to the Japanese Government.
