Petitioners pray that legislation may be granted to enable a rehearing to be made in connection with Te Akau Block.
I have the honour to report,—
1. | That the petitioners have not appeared before the Committee. |
2. | That the report of the Judge who heard the case on a rehearing shows that the claims of the petitioners were duly considered, and that at the close of the case, on judgment being given, all parties expressed their satisfaction. |
3. | That, in face of this report, the Committee has no recommendation to make. |
